As much as I have seen in a few days exploring languge, fantom's public (media/internet) coverage is quite small comparing its features.
I must say that fantom platfom/languge is total mistery for me ...
How (mainly) two developers and this small community have reached this level of functionality ?!
I am so amazed that I'm considering to put fantom as our primary development platform. But, to be honest, I am quite scared to make such move besides "big" and established players like (j)ruby, scala etc.
I would really like to read article like this with a small correction: %s/scala/fantom :).
Scared or not, there is no obstacle to say: Congrat's to all involved for great work with fantom !

hi hernad,
I am glad you hear you like what you see in Fantom. It is true the community is smaller than more established languages, but the platform is very solid and has been proven itself in many real commercial settings. But there will always be a chicken-in-the-egg problem with a newer technology like Fantom. And it isn't all bad to have a smaller community with serious focus and where communication can be more efficient. There are risks associated with every technology (even those championed by, and then dropped by big companies). When everything is open source, the risk is greatly mitigated. In the end my suggestion is to focus on what the platform does and doesn't solve for your development needs.
