I'm running Avast antivirus version 140117-1 (latest version) on Windows XP and when I tried to download Fantom from http://fan.googlecode.com/files/fantom-1.0.65.zip, Avast reported a threat:
Object: http://fan.googlecode.com/files/fantom-1.0.65.zip|fantom-1.0.65\lib\dotnet\sys.dll Infection: Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]
Could you please confirm if the file is clean at the source and I'll report this to Avast as a false positive.
UPDATE
I used VirusTotal service to check Fantom package using multiple antivirus and it came out clean, so I already reported the false positive to Avast.
it came out clean
Phew!
: )
Avast's virus definitions have been updated and latest version (140120-1) doesn't report a -false positive- threat in Fantom package anymore. :)
