I was quite surprised to find there is no FandocWriter in fandoc!? There's a FandocParser, but no means to write the resulting Doc back out into fandoc text.
Um, if there's interest of adding one then I could submit the one I've just written. The unit tests are based on the ones for HtmlDocWriter so they should be pretty comprehensive. See below:

I guess I've never had a situation where the docs weren't sourced as plain text. Email me your patch and we can get it integrated
