A random rant inspired by something similar on lazarus forum. Don't count the old competitors here: Jython, Jruby, Groovy, Scala, Clojure... We have many new names: IBM X10, Jetbrains Kotlin, Redhat Ceylon, Eclipse Xtend... and Java 11!
They have many cool features Fantom doesn't have. I familiar with Xtend and Ceylon most. They defeat Fantom about IDE support and document quality. Both have plugins for Eclipse and IntelliJ with good quality and up-to-date. The best we have is F4 from 2016. What do you think?
