I just found out about Fan and I´m looking forward to test it out (Should it work with Android?).
BUT, this may sound stupid, but I nearly ignored your site, because of this stupid intro picture with the houses on it. I thought I would be one of those I-only-exist-for-advertising sites.... :)
So, maybe someone should draw something nice for you ;)
Thanks for your efforts!

Yeah, that's exactly what's always bothered me about it too. I'll think of some ideas to give it some more identity.
I think I would like to see the return of a code sample, just something simple like a "Hello, World" example. Just so you know the "style" of language Fan is.

Slightly related to the homepage, have you guys thought about creating a FavIcon for the site? I know this is dependent on the name, which is up in the air currently.
A hand fan would be pretty iconic. Something like the Fan item from the Smash Brothers video games. A powered fan icon would be good too, adding a bit of light-heartedness to the language:

+1 on that! I've been pestering Andy for a year now for a favicon.
Although I recently got around to installing FavIcon Picker for Firefox - I don't know how I lived without that before.
