I thought you'd get a kick out of this pair of posts favorably comparing Fan to Scala. One of the points made by the original poster is the preference for a single language discussion site. Which, of course, is why I posted this here ;-)
That's me, by the way. I hope I'm not annoying people too badly with that series. Just felt like doing the original post, and I got so many hits/comments that I kept it going. Also to add detail to what my original list items meant, and to show that I really was serious. And note that I am speaking my own opinions. Sometimes (many times?) they aren't the opinions of Brian and/or Andy. And I'm sure they have more taste than I do.

I read most of that and enjoyed it. I agree with most of the things you pointed out, and I prefer Fan for the same reasons. I like the fact you got that much backslash from the Scala guys, it means they are taking Fan as a serious contender :)
