Some of you have organized a BOF at Devoxx 09 last week...
I will be really interested to have links on the materials you used, slides, videos, demos, ...
But also, can you share with all of us, what the people were thinking of Fantom, their remarks on the language, what did they think should be better, done differently, is great, ...
I attended the BOF, which was a whirlwind tour through the language features. I got there a little late, and spent a long time wondering exactly what "Fantom on the JVM" meant... :)
I had already looked at the language many months before, but the BOF really made me want to do stuff with Fantom (I share Ted Neward's recently-blogged opinion of Fantom) and my experience with it so far has been very pleasant. The only things I really found weird were the date literals.

Dror and me took Ted Neward's around Israel for JavaEdge and pushed :) him to look more closely at Fantom ! He was "kind of" distant at the time, then the quality of the language did the rest... I know his involvement can really give a great push to Fantom, so good luck.

Any online references? I don't think I've seen a blog entry by the always opinionate Ted Neward on Fantom. Was the BOF video taped? (Will it appear on parleys.com?)

BOF are not recorded :(
We will have a good recording I hope for JavaPosse Roundup Coding Dojo! This should be in March 2010.
May be 1.0 will be out by then?

Hi lbertrand,
The slides get mangled after #11, could you try to re-upload them, or maybe somewhere else? (e.g. Google Docs)?
Thanks!

The PDF conversion mess up the slides. You can download the PPT directly from the slideshare site.
