I trhink it will be great to have a tag proposal for the discussion, so we can have filter on them and see all the proposal still in progress, closed, ...So the proposal should also have status.

It will make it easier to follow fantom language evolution.

We do sort of already tag topics as "blog" or "ticket". Then tickets have the states of open, cancelled, or resolved. But all proposals start life as just a topic for discussion, then get promoted to a ticket.

I didn't realized that a proposal was promoted to a ticket at some point... I imagined it is when the proposal as reached a certain level of maturity...

Is there still proposals that have not been promoted to a ticket? If this is the case, I will argue that having the proposal tag can still be nice...

Proposals have been pretty informal so far, just kind of ad-hoc brainstorming. On some subjects, we have had many different discussions (like about a zillion for ctors). But I suspect as Fantom matures and the community gets larger we might want a more formal process where we tag specific proposals. Although there is really a spectrum from bug, minor enhancement, to full blown feature proposal.
